I think the nature of your mistake is that you didn't read his account of the matter. The spammer consented to the audio recording in this case.
Of course, the really funny thing is, gravity wave detectors are very sensetive versions of the Michelson Morley apparatus.
I suspect you'll find that they are not called T1's, but rather E1's in Moscow, and they're 2.0mbps, not 1.54.
