Alot of people credit DC comics Vertigo line, and the Sandman series in particular for bringing a great deal of respect towards comics as a legitimate form of literature and for shedding the impression that most people get that comics are just for kids and only feature superheroes.
My question is, how do you feel about the Vertigo line since Sandman ended and how the publics opinion of comics has changed since (if at all)?
What do you think of the comics that have brought Vertigo even further since the Sandman, such as Preacher, 100 bullets, and Y the last man?
