Bad people don't obey good laws... That is just the way it works.
Investing in today's youth is a good idea. I suspect though that the modern cyberpunk is striving for a world of more substance and reality. These kids don't respect the system because the system is such a joke in so many ways. The computer is a taskmaster instead of a tool, it must be overcome. Also many of them feel that if they wrote a program as insecure as windows they would expect to be fired, sued, or at the least be ashamed of themselves and disrespected by their peers. -- I hope whoever you get to teach kids understands such things... that is my take on it all
