The typical MP3 with DRM gives you the right to copy it to a couple CDs, MP3 Players, and computers. IMHO, all MP3 players should be detected as a removalbe drive and not require special software or drivers. Now that Media Player thinks it's a drive, not an MP3 player, it will not allow you to copy the file to your MP3 player.
My solution: Burn the MP3 to an audio CD and then rip CD to back MP3. It's a hassle but now I'm able to play it on my MP3 player, home computer, laptop, work, etc. I'm sure this is somehow illegial.
I'm currently looking at mp3tunes.com and magnatune.com to bypass the whole DRM issue.
ARCdisk are nice but expensive. If size isn't extremely important, look at NewEgg.com.
