This is basically a Slowpoke3 reactor, modified to generate power through a sodium heat transfer instead of the boiled water originally envisaged. Such locations are often heated with networked hot-water systems that require a constant fossil-fuel supply."
BTW burning coal releases far more radiation into the atmosphere per kWH than any nuclear power plant. Check it out
