I've found that on multilane roads, the point where the dashed white line becomes solid is a good indicator. If the front if your car already passed the point where its turned solid, you can safely get through the intersection.
Without knowing what state, that's not always true. IN my state yellow simply means "red is coming." Only red means "do not enter the intersection." Its perfectly legal to enter the intersection during a yellow light.
By observing oncoming traffic and being aware of the capabilities or your vehicle and patient enough to wait for an appropriate opening, if you can't do those get off the road you are not fit to drive.
Actuall you're the one likely unfit to drive. Plenty of places have poor visibility. If turning left is a problem, they should disallow left turns at said intersections. You also might have days to get where you're going, those of us with jobs do not. Oh, and by NOT going you're making traffic back up behind you, which can cause other big problems.
Like I said, you've never driven in a city.
Because you are parking in an intersection!
No, no one is putting their car into park and turning off the engine.
Since you're all about safety though, why is it ok for cars which now have a green light to enter the intersection while there is still a car trying to clear it? If you were being consistent, you'd argue this, but then it removes your claim that there's some danger involved. There is, but only if a dumbass floors it into the intersection without making sure its clear to go anyway.
And when oncoming has a left turn signal at the end of the green cycle for them? And there are more complicated intersections and light cycles than that.
It blocks people who know have a left turn arrow, just like people that would be going straight. In other words, there's no difference... people with green should wait for the intersection to clear as well, shouldn't they?
And TX is still breaking the law, because Federal law dictates where the intersection is; basically its the line which connects the curbs, and it CANNOT be changed by state law.
Wrong. Yellow is simply a warning that the light will be changing red soon. You do not have to stop, there's no requirement to guess if you'll be able to clear the intersection while the light is entirely yellow. Here's law in VT, and I suspect most states are the same:
Ya, that's what marketing people say to keep them with an income.
Please explain why then, when xbox and ps3 advertise equally, some would pick one over the other. Why is that that display a lot of Long John Silvers commercials, I never go to eat there?
Marketing works in that it lets people know of a products existence.. beyond that I'm not sure.
A shame really, I really enjoy my zune, and my wife replaced her ipod with a zune, because it "just works" (without spending $2000 for a mac computer to hook it up to).
Has nothing to do with "getting me off." Linux was way more a pain in the ass... and since I've found many in the linux community with your same attitude (that Windows can't POSSIBLY be better), linux will continue to be a pain in the ass, and never a serious contender in the desktop OS market.
Probably Windows Home Server is the best bet, especially if he's going with Windows clients anyway. I think there also may be parental control settings at the server level... but I may be remembering incorrectly.
Wouldn't those producing it use legal means (drawings, photoshop, young looking models) to fill the gap instead of risking their business by raping kids? I mean seriously, how is someone viewing to know if its even real or not? I don't think that very many would go that route if there's an easier, and legal, route to go.
So you think rape porn actually leads companies to engage in real rape to make it for those demanding it?
Its funny you like to TruTV, which states "not reality, actuality." Actuality being of course made up crap. Like their repomam show. Oh, you didn't know they're all actors and they are "reenacting" "actual" events?
Anyway, your conclusion is dubious. Its likely that being a preditor means you accumulate pictures, but that doesn't necessarly make it follow that if you accumulate pictures, you become a preditor.
Speak for yourself, but myself and other do enjoy using MS projects. For me, actually trying to use Linux made me enjoy MS software (it helped that MS did actually improve their stuff too).
And as someone who codes, and has hired coders, I would reply "Please don't let the door hit you on the way out, and by the way, there are 199 other people waiting to interview for that position. Please try and stay out of their way as you go down the stairs."
Prepare to be very understaffed in a few years. People may put up with shit like that if they need ANY job, but once the market rebounds, they'll remember it and be out the door exteremly quickly.
And by the way, the fact that you didn't get that "write something for free" means, a small, noncommercial piece of sample code that demonstrates that you know how to create class foo with a member function that loops from 1 to 10, exits appropriately and returns a string that says "I'm finished." is indication number two that you are a f***ing lamebrain with neither perspective nor common sense.
If that's all you've asked for, I honestly don't know why you'd bother with it.
In short, you just lost the job due to stupidity, an overblown sense of entitlement and childish arrogance. I have time for none of these.
I guess if that matters depends on the person leaving. Not everyone looking for a job is unemployed or even underemployed.
Lets see... use the time after I'm done my FT employement to write a pointless code sample for an interview, or use that time to do consulting work for which I'll be paid.. hmm...
And if your ISP suddenly starts requiring AV where it didn't before, you also lose access to a feature... really the ONLY feaure of an ISP connection. Contrast that with this feature, which I've never actually seen advertised. mentioned in the manual. I never even heard of it until I got my PS3 and saw it in the menu.
I don't see any reason to sue sony; people bought a gaming machine / media center for a niche feature (which I've NEVER seen advertised by sony) and then complain when said feature is removed. Ya your cell phone might be able to play monopoly today, but are you going to be really pissed if it can't, when you know the main purpose of the device is NOT game playing? Doesn't seem rational to me.
I dunno.. is it even a grammar mistake if you use the totally wrong word? If I used fork in place of truck, for example... is that really a grammar mistake or something else?

Oh, well that's reasonable. We'll just have people see into the future so they can know.
Sounds like you're the idiot then if you cross KNOWING YOUR ROUTE IS BLOCKED AS WELL.

Please cite the relevent law.
Do NOT cite what it says in your DMVs website; DMVs are notorious for printing what they want, regardless of actual law.
Ya, that's what marketing people say to keep them with an income.

Ya, poor MS, fading into irrelevence as they rake in the cash from Windows 7 (seriously... go look up sales).
They'll trade twenty or thirty hours of work for an iPad, but not take that time off to spend with family.
When has spending time with family made anyone happy? At best, its tolerable. At worse, it makes you unhappy.

Don't see anything wrong with that...
At the point they're WANTING to shoot up at home, you've failed as a parent.

By that logic many builders didn't trust their buildings as they omit a 13th floor as well.
I think you're seriously overestimating how many people care about extensions at all.
Sure it wasn't a simple case of typing years when he meant months? I've been known to do stuff like that.
And as someone who codes, and has hired coders, I would reply "Please don't let the door hit you on the way out, and by the way, there are 199 other people waiting to interview for that position. Please try and stay out of their way as you go down the stairs."
