Y'know, I don't think you are right about that, actually. Defective flash RAM just happens sometimes...just because the same parts and process build Opportunity does not mean that the same part will have a flaw. What they should have done is tested the ram on earth, but even so, most likely it'll be fine (we hope.)

NRA websites, pro gun websites, instructions on gun use, these can hurt people! Pro-gun or anti-gun, you have to admit that the Brady website is never going to hurt anyone. A shotgun can. This isn't about free speech; this is about protection.
Personally I believe CIPA should be repealed and that filters are bad; but if you are going to use them, this is a GOOD decision.

I just want practical nanotechnology. I'd like to among other things augment my body and simply make normal things using nanotech...paper with embedded computers, for example.

OTOH, if you take Linpack/SPEC scores by people other than apple, the dell will stomp the G5...so that effects the price performace curve.
