It does that definetelly (not on Opera right now - in cafe, so can't really explain preciselly). Of course there's always the possibility that it does that a bit differently or we're thinking about something different altogether...
I would be surprised if there exists extention in FireFox that can't be recreated easily in Opera...FF probably just had bigger momentum behind it, so more extentions...
I wonder how it'll lok like when Opera is now free...
Hmmm...the toolkit, uhmm, crap, don't remember the name - but the one which came to us with Eclipse, and whch Asureus uses - doesn't look native enough?
Well, it's clearly that way in case of man...I'd say that initially (prebirth and perhaps some time after) the feelings of father toward the baby are driven by his belief that it's his child, that shares part of him. However woman...she knows it's her child. She feels it. She gives birth and feeds it. The connection is mainly on this basis, I believe...
I see some fun and very usefull stuff that came out of it.
Too bad my favourite project from GAIM camp didn't turn out much... Crazy Chat is a lovely idea IMHO...enhancing communication via IM to include emotional messages presented usually by webcam, but without the bandwith (and difficulties of transmitting video) overhead. (Matrox tried somthing similar with their Headcasting, but it was useless IMO - it merely guessed how the animated face on the other end should look like based on voice, but this didn't add any additional information to communication, like Crazy Chat would, by "scanning", transmitting and displaying on animated, cartoony head, real emotional responces)
I wonder if someone else would pick up the idea...
Not disagreeing with you...but I wonder, why donor-egg would be that worse than this method? Certainly simpler and less expensive...and we've basically ceased the comply with the pressure of our genes to spread them anyway...
I see wishfull thinking on your part...but what if the woman DON'T WANT to back to natural ways? And last 2 man are found?

Cult movie here. Sadly, it's humour can barely be translated to English (cult quote every 5 minutes). Warning: don't read comments on imdb, full of spoilers.
Actually, it's not only the amplifier, unfortunatelly:/
It's also all present today dynamics compression...apparently in some part driven by the fact that more and more people listen to music on the go or i a car:/
And it's actually quite disastrous.

Recent Hydrogenaudio discussion: (look at visualized samples at least...)
You might consider SiS for chipset. Equeally well supported by OSS, and a hardware without some of Via mistakes (limited PCI bandwith (still), problems with SATA2, to name the current ones)
Resampling doesn't necessery mean worse sound quality...it's just that Creative soundcards, up to now, had terrible resampling. (notice how, in XiFi, resampling is supposedly finally done right...and it takes up large part of power; btw, I like cards that don't resample, like mine) Under windows there's easy solution when it comes to listening to mp3: foobar has built in resampler of very good quality. Unfortunatelly I don't know what the solution would be for *nix... simply because my soundcard doesn't need it.
Hmmm...from reading recent announcements of Creative, I have the impression that when it comes to true 3D positional audio they catched up with A3D 1.0 with current (advertised) features of XiFi (plus Creative has enviromental "filters" of course - but while they'll together give similar results to A3D 2.0 in most cases...still, at least theorethically, not as accurate; ironically they'll give you better information where exactly a monster stands behind that wall...but I don't call that accuracy)
When was that?;)
But joking aside...personal preference, whether somebody likes games in PC or console style...
Besides, anyone here really believes that creating impressive graphics more easily will bring superior games? (OK, you might argue that more time will be for other things than graphics...but will it be really?)
I think somebody will care if Google would say that they won't open to other Jabber servers.
I'll describe situation in Poland: apart from "leading" IM network, Gadugadu (which fvcks users as they can - there are ads (often flash based, sometimes with sounds) in mnain program windows, in conversations windows (3 in each one of them), in "search conntact" dialog and also as popups and poltergeists), there's also second IM company, Tlen, which is based on Jabber, but not open and right now a little modified for original Jabber. But there is a transport nonetheless. And in case of Google, full specs are there, no reverse engineering needed.
No, the organic compounds of which CDs are made would detoriate badly, and rather quick. I'm guessing they will use glass for making discs, as ESA does in similar project.
I don't know what NASA woill do, but similar project by ESA uses disc that logically are DVDs, but physically...not quite. The information will be engrawed in glass.
IMO, the ones who hadn't been hit, say what you've said. But ask the Australians. Heck, I shared your view not so long ago. But when in last March (late March) I got sunburns after 3h on the Sun (when there was some depletion of O3 over Central Europe), I began to wonder...

What were you saying again?...
Ignore me, somehow I must have a habit of assuming that the soft is mac only when I see mac logo... Must give Mulberry a try...

Since you seem to know this stuff good...hmm, OK, Evolution for *nix...but what would you recommend for Windows?

Please describe this "female chromosome" of yours...

Evelution still happens, for sure. If it is somewhat distorted when it comes to genes...evolution of memes fluorish.

/me puts helmet while the ones racing for test.iq pass him (wonder what that tells about their intelligence... ;) )

General rule of thumb: if you want something good, stay away from speakers targeted at computer use.

2000 and 2005 were very comparable
