You could create a bot that joins 2 or more IRC channels and then intelligently relay what some people are saying from one channel to the other. That would make for some pretty confusing and astounding conversations. The judges would probably catch on though:-)
The consumer may not be directly liable, but in the end we pay for it. How do you think credit card companies compensate for lost revenue due to of fraudulent transactions? They raise the interest rates!
I remember a friend of mine that left his credit card at a gas station and it got used at a local department store to buy hundreds of dollars in goods. He had enough information to track the guy down and bust him, but he opted to just cancel the card and get a new one, because he didn't have to worry about being liable. This kind of irresponsible behavior just makes the fraud worse and the interest rates higher for all of us.
Just how easy will it be to get the thing installed and running the way you like it?
With my experience with GNOME/Enlightenment, I love to play with it, but it takes a lot of tinkering and scrounging for answers through countless FAQ's, mailing lists and (limited) documentation, then searching out and downloading tons of prerequesits before you can install it. If everything doesn't work perfectly (which it never does), then comes troubleshooting... you may need a *lot* of time on your hands.
So for the non linux-guru, just how easy will it be to install (or upgrade/switch desktop environments), configure (like behaviors, sound, printing, etc.) and troubleshoot?
I realize a lot of these issues have to do with the maturity of Linux itself, but this is a good topic to discuss!
Great, now this just amplifies the general concern about the security of cookies, even though it is entirely at the fault of the MSIE browser.
