I didn't mean you were being illogical by making a generalization. All I meant is that men can be just as illogical as women. It's not a gender thing.
Women, as men, have appreciation for beauty. And diamonds are beatiful forms of crystal carbon. Just as mountains can be beautiful piles of dirt and water.

Lovely generalization about women there. Unfortunatrly the logic stuff does not seem to work with men either.
