This whole topic of discussion on slashdot appears to be stuck in an infinite loop.
If US programmers were taking work from other countries by offering more competitive rates and this was creating a jobs boom in the US I can't imagine any discussions happening as to whether this was "moral" or not. These same people would be saying "If you can't compete with us then that's your problem not ours" as they bank their next fat pay cheque.
