How does me being 'authenticated' on the clean-internet help with spyware that runs on my pc, sending limb-growth spam on the hospital's "new cure for aging found" forum ?
I'm pretty sure I've seen some university project identical to this some time (1 year ?) ago. So it's definitely been done before. Although google does make a perfect (or at least a lot more suited) maintainer for such a project.

I don't know any compgeek that uses PGP, or anyone that uses it to encrypt their mail.
... or any geek for that matter, probably.
IANAEM (english major) but I don't think it's entirely appropriate to use "one" in a case such as this.
Perhaps there's a Slackware Hacks book coming out ?
Why not pure assembler ?
