Damn straight. As one who just purchased a TiBook with a Combo Drive, I had planned on downloading/buying iDVD to go with an external Firewire DVD burner.
Little did I know that iDVD only supports internal drives.
I would definitely pay $50 for it if it would support and external Firewire. Upgrading my Combo to a Superdrive just isn't practical as far as I know (cost would be prohibitive I believe, the labor isn't particularly difficult).
