  1. It won't last. Maine needs the $$$'s. on Maine Rejects Federally Mandated ID Cards · · Score: 2, Interesting

The law doesn't have a way to force Maine to comply as that's a states rights issues.

What I predict will happen is that the Federal government will start by holding back the money that they would disperse to the state for highway dollars just like they have done for other measures. (The ones that come to mind is seat-belt and drunk driving laws but I know that there are others.). If holding back Federal highway funds they will find other funds not to give the state.

  2. Res is still lower than my laptop. on Asus PW191 LCD Review · · Score: 1

This like most desktop LCD's res is still too low.
I would like a screen for my desk that can do 1600 x 1200 may thinkpad can do it.

Since glass is bigger I don't think that I am asking too much.

Anybody have a desktop LCD with "HI Res"?

Should we ban putting building up that are over 10 floors? By the same logic trees effect the wind and should be destoyed.

  5. Re:The city was being reasonable, not Smirnoff on Reverse Graffiti · · Score: 1

If the city was doing it's job it would put the Graffiti artist in jail, then removed the Graffiti. If the graffiti was properly remove they couldn't be posting ads by removing parts of the affending graffiti. They are looking at the wrong party. There couldn't be "Reverse Graffiti" if the Graffiti was propperly removed. Look at the NY city subway. They fix it as soon as it happens.

You have to find the fine print. Only two of the 4 lanes are open. The old road was 3 lanes, 93 south is currently down to 2 lanes. We should see the last two lanes in 2006.
