I've recieved nasty letters, emails and phone calls from my ISP about my bandwidth usage before. In the past, their policy was that 14GB down and 2GB up per month was considered reasonable use, which I thought was a little low.
Since then, they've changed their outlook on bandwidth usage and now allow 30GB up/down combined, which I believe is pretty reasonable. Since they raised their limitations, I have not had any complaints.
