1. Buy better cooling fans. This means better bearings & better balanced blades. Motor noise in this size equipment is bearing/bushing noise.
2. Keep the fan blades clean. Dirty fans are less aerodynamic hence louder.
3. Stick your box in the closet and close the door. Buy longer cables for your monitor and keyboard...very cheap.
4. Remotely mount a small squirrel cage fan in the garage and run flex ducting to the computer room, down or through the wall and into the computer where the fan used to be. Very cheap, but a pain.
