And I do delete the movies when I've watched them once, so it's kinda like that old Divx thing with the expiring DVDs.

You actually CAN let whomever you wish use it and charge them whatever you want. But if anything happens to the car, you would be responsible for the damage. And if you weren't driving, there's all kinds of legal stuff in there.

But you CAN let someone else drive and charge them for it. Just like I CAN download movies of the bittorrents. Just because something is illegal doesn't mean you can't do it.

They throttled me. I have a 3-at-a-time plan, rip all 3, and send them back the next day. Instead of sending all 3 of mine out, they send out two, wait a day, and send out the 3rd. It's not AWFUL, but it's not really that cool.

If I could stream ANY movie that they had (not just their terrible selection of B and C grade movies and some TV shows), I wouldn't do this, since I usually watch the movies I ripped while I wait for my next 3 to come in.

I use between 50 and 80% of my max upload for torrents. I'm able to play TF2 and ping in the 20s. This article is addressing an issue that has been covered in every single "So, you want to use BitTorrent" article EVER.

Hell, Azureus has a plugin to test ping an IP address/website, and if it takes longer than a set time, it slows down your uploads. uTorrent has a feature like that, as well.
