Poststamps are anonymous, sms certainly is not.
I believe that, doing it like this is expensive and traceble.
Then again i have not send any snailmail in a long, long time. So i should not be the one to cry about it.

Who are all these sorry asses that still use media hahahahaa...
As long as they put a price on the media, instead of putting a price on the actual content they will hunt after theire own tail:-)
Do the math: buy a cd, a dvd and the LP thing... you will pay for the right to listen to a single song 3 times. I demand a refund... (I really would, if id payed anything hihi)
To bad you don't see it. I need to convince people, make a case for a product before it is used to support the business.
I agree that this version of Sarge is stable, technically more advanced than woody, especially if you want to use a 2.6 kernel with LVM suppport right at install.
For me a large userbase, losts of people using a product is more convincing than a lesser used product with expensive support. And a official release will result in more users. (Don't dump the "don't follow the crowd" flame on me)
A large userbase means that known problems are likely to be solved by others and my own efforts to solve problems will help more others.
I don't plan on using this stuff for hobby pet projects, I want to make money of it (so i can eat and donate) and use it in a commercial enviroment. Do I tell my manager: "ohh but it it's almost stable, we don't need to wait..." i'm not gonna! I need it to be officialy released before I stick my head out for Debian!
I love debian dearly especially as a server OS. I love sarge, i've been using it on my private projects but would love to see it released soon.
