Your complaint is as baseless as saying that stores shouldn't put security stickers on video games to prevent shoplifting. Plus, nobody sends Secret Service to your door; it just prevents you from doing something illegal. And finally, nobody is forced to put all these preventive methods in their products. I could assume the main reason for them to do this voluntarily is because they don't want to give opportunity to counterfeiters to copy bills and subsequently weaken the value of money, which in return will hurt the companies itself.
