Nobody wondered about the debate over the veracitiy of the "Get the FUD" campaign when I brought it up. All they thought about was a way to get a piece of the market research action with MS funding, of course.
I don't use OO as my primary desktop office suite, but I'm begining to reconsider.
For some projects at work I receive data from all over the world in with foreign language encoders. Using MS apps its been a real pain to get some foreign language text to show up nicely. I installed OO at work and now everytime those foreign langauge character files come our way we crack 'em open in OO, save them as *.DOC, *XLS etc.
In this respect it works as you would expect an office suite to work.
RTFA. From the Apology, p.23. "The restoration of the chateau (de Bouricia) for that purpose would be an appropriate use of the million dollars offered for a proof of the Riemann Hypothesis."
He wants to convert an old ruined chateau into a mathematics institute.
