Software, in general, ranges from many subjects. It is impossible to define a set of rules to make software less buggy, however, the only rule that can be said is "Check your program for everything, right down to entering a double decimalled negative number (e.g. -2.5.3) on a Win95 machine..." Obviously, the chances that that will happen are practically zero, but after all, what's the definition of "buggy"? What's the definition of a "bug"?
