Slashdot doesn't know my real name and will never know my real name, so neither will Microsoft.
I'm surprised that people who logged in under their own name on Amazon.com actually though "HEY! EVEN THOUGH AMAZONG KNOWS WHO I AM, I WILL GIVE MY OWN BOOK A GOOD REVIEW AND THEY WILL NEVER FIND OUT! HOORAH FOR SELF MARKETING!"
Too me, its simple logic.
This is disturbing and destructive to the musicians.
And halarious because of the stupidity of labels.
Think about it, DJs need mixes and remixes to get somewhere in life. They can not always pay of permission to use the material they use, so they do it underground. Once a DJ becomes popular, he/she can start dumping money into the pockets of record labels.
So why are record labels destroying the inievatable source of their income? I honestly hope that record labels world wide win all their law suits and destroy themselves in the process, so we can make way for a new method of doing things when it comes to music. Maybe I as a musician wont benefit from this, but futher generations will.
