    I agree: "perpetual motion"

Unable to get to Transitive's website.

The claim of any binary from any computer
on any other computer without performance
    loss is complete bunk.

Care to run my SPARC binary on a PC at the
same speed it runs on a high end SPARC?

Or, for that matter ... how about a Linux
binary, developed on my 3GHZ Pentium box,
run that at full speed on my 600MHZ laptop!

We have allowed Marketing and Sales people to
get away with something called "puffery" but
    this goes beyond anything reasonable.

    I say, SLASHDOT THEIR SITE!

No, wait. Someone already did that.

    You aren't burning bridges.

At this point, the bridges are *already* charred
hunks of ash held together by rusted nails.

Recognize that the corporation's personnel department
has placed your team on the far side of a chasm and
applied flame throwers to the trestle.

If this behavior is not corrected immediately by higher
level management, where "immediately" is "fast enough
that the question of retroactive pay adjustment never
has to come up" -- then the corporate management has
watched the bridge burn, probably roasting marshmellows,
and is refusing to build another.

It also takes sensors in contact with your skin to
pick up the subvocalization electronically -- this
is not something you can do unobtrusively.
