The guy (who admits to not knowing his stuff so perhaps we can forgive him) really hasnt got a clue
The processor is designed specifically for sensors that wake up, do a few calculations and go back to sleep, these type of devices are genrally battery powered and off grid and generally make a decision whether to power up some other device eg to transmit the data. The device would probably be useless for anything involving serious processing, even the processor in an optical mouse would probably wipe the floor with it!
Barring that there are billions (yes billions not millions) of sensor devices out there currently using PIC/AMR/8051 derivatives that may benefit from this technology.
Interestingly we are getting to a level of power where even the most inneficient generator (or a low power radio signal) and a rather small capacitor could power it forever

Dropping Kylix is a pretty good decision, Linux has no future anyway [Ducks and covers!]
It's a shame a lot of developers are leaving Delphi, its's still a fine language (probably the best for Windows RAD) and well supported, and as long as there is a Windows API it can still produce a single executable that will run fine on anything from Windows 95 to Vista. I personaly have no plans to move but (unfortunately for Codegear) nor do I have any to upgrade.
..How good do those "good looking" sites really look once you've disabled the ads and flash parts of them?
This is what most knowledgeable users and IT departments do these days anyway to reduce the visual spam and conserve bandwidth..
Nice SIP exchange and client so that someone can call me with my yahoo email address (Sorta like FWD plus
vonage) . Its gonna happen very soon with one of the big players as they have the country presences.
Maybe FWD, Vonage, Yahoo and Google could co-operate? (..hey a flying pig!)
Delete IE, Install firefox and rename it to Internet explorer, I did it on my mums PC (A most difficult to please individual) and told her it was a new version, since then no spyware.

The PIC acronym is already taken but they definitely don't do 40gHz!
I know it won't happen, but will the perception of IE and firefox be reversed if/when firefox wins the race???

Just encrypt the files first using truecrypt or such and I dont see any problem, saves me using another drive
