actually, webtv does have an option to allow users to verify the number being dialed, but most users aren't aware of it...
regarding earlier post about msn setting configurations to prevent such, webtv, or msntv, same difference, is microsofts redheaded step child from uncertain parentage, which means spport and configuration of such as security measures is far below the usual priority, even with probably 2 million boxes having been sold.
