This sounds wrong to me.
You'd need around 2^40 documents to have a good chance of any two of them having the same MD5 hash.
You have no where near that many.
Are you sure you are calculating your MD5 correctly?
The problem isn't that there aren't *enought* apps. The problem is that the ones I use run on windows. I'd rather pick my hardware & OS to suit the applications rather than the other way round.
(I do also run linux as well as windows. Some apps run on windows, some on linux.)
The local shop near me used to take debit cards and I used to shop there sometimes. The last time I went I had about £40 of stuff and tried to pay and got told that I could no longer pay with my debit card but there was a cash machine at the back.
I went to get money but it cost £1.50 so I didn't bother. I left all my shopping at the checkout and made it very clear I was not going back to the shop again until they got a more sensible policy.
I can't believe I'm the only one who would do that.,
That's one good thing about the UK's system.
You can use any machine belonging to any bank without paying any fees at all.
There are a few machines in local shops and petrol stations and so on that charge money for cash but I can't imagine anyone actually uses them:(
What's so bad about putting an X next your candidate with a pencil and putting the paper in a box like we do in the UK? I'm all in favour of computers and everything but computerising this just seems unnecesaily complicated and expensive.
I heared an interview of one of the people in charge of this on BBC radio the other day and he basically said that they used real because it was the closest thing to a standard at the time they started doing this, and that for newer stuff they also made it available with MS media player, and they hoped to make more stuff available in both those formats *and in other non propriety formats* in the future.
He basically said they used those formats because that's what people had got players for.
I just got a server from them and have just finished setting up the DNS and email and web servers. Now I'm going to have to find another company any move everything. What a pain!
Any suggestions for hosting companies where I can get a similar or better deal that their $99 servers?

Damn windows spell chekers. If only there was a windows version :)

If you can send data in any form you can tunnel anything you like over it. Why is this news?

Maybe Jayne didn't read the owners' manual and just thought it needed air to work?
The ISP I use, Andrews & Arnold do. Although they are in the UK so probably no use to you.

> With Microsoft's, it's just a matter of spoofing IP addresses also.
But luckily it's not possible to do that for tcp so that's ok.
