Everyone of us is paying someone for Internet access to get to Napster's music content. What if Napster started selling that same Internet access and bundled the cost of the music in with the access fee? There are only a few companies that own their own Internet infrasturcture. Most ISP's, including DSL providers purchase it wholesale, private label it and resell it to the consumer.
There is plenty of margin within the access cost to share between the RIAA, the artist and Napster.
Would you switch and buy access from Napster if they offered it?
What antitrust roadblocks? I am not sure this would be an antitrust issue.
