Your point is well understood. I am not hoping that it works with anything other than X1000 series just that it works with all the X1000 series. From my very cursory look into this it appears that there are many different Avivo features and not all cards are going to support all of them.
The article isnt specific on this just says that cards from this series should work. The reason I ask this is I would hate to see a repeat of the Nvidia Purevideo technology. I never could get that to work and I don't think I am the only one. If its only the X1800 they should say that. I wished they would have compared performace as well between an X1300 if available to the X1800 using this technology.
