You should listen to yourself carefully. You just said it in your description, the job is fairly dull but pays well. Not everyone has opportunities such as this nor are they able to step one foot in that direction because they are tied down to family, friends, job, etc. If you are under 30 you should do it because you are still young. If you are over 30 you should do it because you might not have this opportunity again. Consider your accomplishment in IT as an example of what you can accomplish in other areas. If it doesn't work out at least you have the experience to go back into IT or go on other tours.
