Get realistic, people. If there would be no Microsoft there would be another company doing the same things. Imagine Apple as they behave today / company policy until recently. They also closed access to their OSes and hardware... So this discussion is actually going nowhere. Get a life, or better yet, get back to programming the OpenSource I'm going to use, muahahaha!
