I think you're on to something. I think its time to give up on SETI and Folding@home and make a new distributed project to better man-kind; a doubleclick DDoS'er.
12 years ago he was up for trial and lost his case. I don't think statutes of limitations applies here because he was already convicted of a crime, but he was not apprehended because he fled. Ignoring the fact that your supposed to go to jail doesn't make it go away.
And by application i mean the form kind. Why not block all traffic, then if power-users want it open, they can fill out a form and the ISP can open it up.
Does the ISP care who you are? Not really. They just care that its YOUR modem being used to download that stuff. The final destination or who is actually dictating what is being downloaded is irrelevent if the ISP really wants to shut off your internet.
