I'm all for having as many available extensions as possible, but that's just the problem..there's too many! A new user will go to the extensions pages looking for ways to enhance the browser and they are bombarded with a single HUGE listing every extension and little infromation. It's overwhelming. Have fun navigating that extensions page with the scrollbar!
8 months ago that extensions page was great because there was only 20 or so extensions at the time, now there are hundreds and it's time for a page redesign.
The mozdev.org extension mirror is better layed out but still fails imo. http://extensionroom.mozdev.o rg
Just another step closer.
