I 100% agree.
1) I want to be able to buy lossless. I absolutely love the pay per byte model. I think it's much more fair than the currently "legal" models where you are paying nearly the same price for 128K as you would for the CD.
2) I don't want to be locked into a service by virtue of the hardware I choose for my portable device.
Probably needs a little beefing up.
