I may be mistaken, but when I follow the "Full Story" link in the article, it takes me to an FCC page with a license being granted to Momentum Worldwide in Wooloomooloo, Australia?!?
As one of those "Mormon zealot[s]," I take issue with your statement. When I purchase a movie, I purchase the right to view that movie as a I please. If I wish to watch the chapters in reverse, skip whole sections, fast forward, I can. If I choose to let a product do such for me, that is my right. How would you like it if you were forced to listen to EVERY track on a CD you purchased, in order, without skipping around, EVERY time you listened to it? Isn't it your right to listen to it as you please?
Ah, if only I had mini disks to burn it to. Guess it'll have to go on my 2 cent full size ones instead. Such a waste, when I could put it on a 1 cent one! Wow, 8 comments and the site's already down. Are they running the server off one of these mini-cds?

The key could include an onboard thumbprint scanner or other bio-authentication with it to eliminate most of these problems.
