Complex people can do most anything. Simple people not much. If there are no simple jobs for these people how will they earn a living? A rich society can afford to support useless people but then they get used to it and wont work when simple jobs are available. With the current system in the U.S. if you take seasonal jobs your benefits might be ended and then the simple person has a hard time getting them all going again. It's much easier for foreign full time migrant workers to fill these mostly agricultural jobs. If the borders were locked down, think the Berlin wall, domestic workers could have work. Just have a system of workfare payments that make-up the difference for not having full time work. Don't believe that there are jobs Americans won't do. I worked on a small family farm and have done all those back breaking tasks. After a few days you don't even notice it
Poor baby. I live one mile past the last mile for cable or dsl. I have HoughesNet satellite service, $94 for 1.5 mbit with a 450mb per rolling 24 hour period limit (thats not a misprint). If you go over that they impose a penalty by cutting speed to 36kbit for 24 hours.
