The quick recharge rate is only one of the advantages of this battery type which makes it ideal for electric and hybrid cars.
The other is the relatively high energy density. I don't remember which site had this info but this new battery has about 250 Whr/kg density. Electric cars would have acceptable ranges at 300 Whr/kg which is not far from the capabilities of the organic radical battery.
