This is good news. As a few J. Random's of the internet, we don't stand much of a chance. Large companies like these do stand a chance, and a quite good chance if they team up, like they should.
I think they have such large profit margins on their chips, that they can easily give in somewhat while they design a chip that doesn't rely on the OMG-ITS-A-SHITLOAD-OF-MHZ myth.
But that is only possible when Joe User gets smart and realizes MHz isn't everything..
Considering that, I agree, Intel must be dying;)
It doesn't have to be pure webmail. You can get your Hotmail email with Outlook Express (not that you should...), and I would very much like to have a large popbox that I can use with my email client from home and with a good web based client from everywhere else.
I don't know why the parent got modded Funny. He definitely has a point. Ogg Vorbis is a great codec and really should be incorporated in portable media players.
Ogg Vorbis is found in an ever increasing amount on mucisian's sites and by leaving support for it out of your player, you're losing a lot of revenue. Quite a portion of the geek crowd would love to have an affordable Ogg/Vorbis portable media solution./rant off.
PS: Like my other posts this is probably getting modded down. It must be my karma or something.;)
To be completely honest, I don't find the suit too appealing visually, even if you think out the guy. He should have made it night black, in my opinion. It would hide certain parts of his body better too...
And it will also recede your hairline by 10 years, eat your cat, set fire to your car and break all the windows in your house. But hey, it's cheap :)
As much as I dislike MS, trying to keep virusses at bay with things like this is a pretty good move.

I wonder how Darl McBride is feeling right now.

Those numbers are nice and all, but what kind of processors are they? I doubt that they are x86...

But I'm going to scratch out my eyes now.
Anyone remember Command&Conquer?
