    I agree -- I don't know how accurate these results are. I'm in a small town of 30,000 people and we have cable modems for $30 a month through the utilities company. There's fibre optics running throughout our little town.

    I would really like to see this stick but the article finishes with an appeal. This means that, though its a start it really isn't much to go on.

    It seems flimsy though to say that programming is simply a language and therefore violates his right to free speech. It just doesn't seem like much to go on when the government believes that it is a national security issue. I'm still doubtful this means much.

    Barnes-and-noble is selling a single for $18.


    $504/24 = $21 which means you'll pay more if you buy them in bulk..


    Which means that if you buy them in bulk they are twice as sure of your IQ.

    Interesting that buying them in bulk actually costs more ... unlesss I read something wrong they are selling the book as a single for $18 (their price) and the 24 pack for $504.00 which means that they are selling each copy at $21.00 if you buy them in bulk.

    Barnes-n-Noble is selling it for $504.00
    Amazon is selling it for $504.00
    Shopping.com is selling it at: $489.60
    BuyBooks.com is comes in at the least at: $432.00

    I wrote a program to find the cheapest O'Reilly books on the net after reading the prices that came up on the review of the perl cookbook.
