Saddam broke 19 (NINETEEN) UN resolutions and the UN would just keep throwing another resolution out there instead of doing what they said that they would do if he broke one. It was agreed upon, unanamously, that the UN would use heavy force if Saddam didn't comply. After 19 failures to comply, the UN was looking like a major farce, as it is. I know why they wouldn't enforce their resolutions and so do you. They were all involved in scams in the oil for food program. The United States was tired of this dictator defying the world and the UN as well as tired of the outdated, farcicle UN doing their underhanded dirty deals with the dictator that produces nothing but evil and death.
