    If you could find 9 sources of alternative energy that represented 12% of total USA gasoline usage, you'd do away with any need on foreign oil. If you could find 1 source of alternative energy that represented 12% of total USA gasoline usage, you can decrease the amount the USA needs foreign oil.

    If you're too young to consent to having sex then you're too young to be prosecuted under laws relating to children and sex. Surely someone can't be so young that they don't understand the issues and yet old enough to be prosecuted by the law?

    Actually that's all part of Microsoft's plan. Release a buggy as hell OS in 2009 that doesn't actually run on any current hardware. Get people to buy it then 2 years later when the hardware to run it is finally put on the market, release a patch that fixes the piece of shit they published in 2009. That way they get money in 2009 for a product that won't be ready until at least 2011.

    Yes but surely Vista and XP can be completely fragmented, in that you shouldn't need to have people assigned to Vista pulled from it to work on XP if you're willing to simply hire more people. So either they did throw non-Vista people at XP and the summary is bullshit, or they're not willing to put enough people into their operating systems (which is simply mind boggling).

    As they say, "no press is bad press.." Has the press in America even been negative? The one news piece I saw of it highlighted the ridiculousness of the government's response to the advertisements. So $2M for good press in circles that quite likely would have gone unawares of the show is a pretty good deal I imagine in anyone major company's book.
