I will go ahead and take the hit and say Techtv was getting old. They seemed to start playing the same episodes over and over again like they had run out of material. I would say however this has more to do with the producers and money behind the show and not the hosts. I mean the hosts can only work with what they are given. It would be nice to see shows like TSS and CfH find a new home and keep the shows alive and fresh in the old spirit.
However, Techtv offered a lot as people have said and it obviously meant a lot to tons of people that Leo had to ask people to stop emailing G4 on the air about the CfH. For myself I loved searching the site and finding tons of tips and new websites. When I started using Linux Techtv was a good place for open source information.
It was awesome to have a tech channel not 100% dedicated to Microsoft. Also, I agree with some others that G4 will fail. There are more people out there that want the tech knowledge more than the gaming knowledge. I mean how many times can they review the same aspects of games. I don't care to see the top 10 games of all time chosen by someone I don't even know. While I like FF games...do we really need 30 minutes of wasted time talking about which character was the best or had the best cgi? Gimme a break. I want Techtv back!!! I hope the people at G4 are reading these comments.
Should reality and money prevail I hope someone creates or finds a website with all the tech knowledge combined. At least they can never take away Leoville.
