  1. Why not use Bink? on DivX ;-) Deux Update · · Score: 1

It's a free, legal player / encoder with much better-than-dvd compression at the same quality with sixteen available compression schemes. And, on my computer, it plays much faster than the one-frame-in-twenty-seconds DivX ;-).

...but when will we get a Free Beer version of Freenet? I'll gladly donate my empty beer bottles so people can store their beer in them. As long as it's Free Beer, I don't care what kind of beer it is. Kiddy Beer? Nazi Propaganda Beer? Gimme!

Now that's a great idea - we won't need no Napster-ripoffs without uploading support anymore!

  7. Re:they cant do this on KeyGhost Security Keyboard Records Keystrokes · · Score: 1

The difference here is that encryption protects your privacy, while those keyboards would take your privacy away. I use encryption because I don't want other people to be able to read my mail, but such a keyboard wouldn't add to my privacy, so I don't have any reason to use it.

  8. About the credits on Live or Memorex? · · Score: 1

TV is the worse right now; it used to be that the end credits for most shows were just shown in full screen, no problem, but then someone got the idea to splitscreen them, to allow an ad to run along side the credits.

I don't know how this is in the USA, but here in the Netherlands the commercial channels don't display the credits anymore at all! This is most annoying when a good movie is being run and it has great music, or you want to see who the cast was, and then the credits are cut off after three seconds and those stupid commercials begin.
Also, during movies or longer series there is approximately one commercial break (usually lasting five minutes) every 30 minutes, and in even longer movies there is sometimes a 25-minute break for some blatantly commercial news program! How's this in other countries (particularly USA)?

That would depend on your personal opinion, ofcourse, but for me it was enough Grand Theft Auto 2 was on time... (22nd of October worldwide)

You call that a computer chair? My gramps has a chair like that, its exactly the same! Even the handle on the side looks the same!
