Boy I sure am glad that you're so kind and loving that you think being a superior computer-user is the most important thing ever to happen to earth.
Some of the most computer illiterate people I know are mostly wealthy business owner people... ya know, like the ones who give YOU a job. So beat your paycheck to death, that'd be funny.
Malloci, I am sure glad that you believe that there's a nonviolent solution to every problem throughout the world. Unfortunately, a nonviolent solution when presented to a nation full of hatred towards Americans and the ultimate goal of killing Americans will only be met with violence. The key here was to do exactly what Bush did, amongst the protests (whining) of the liberal left who scream "PEACE THROUGH SITTING AROUND A TABLE AND YAPPING!" Keep the violence in their backyards, instead of mine. I know that sounds selfish, but Americans weren't the ones who came up with a religion that rewards you for killing "The Unwashed Masses of America."
And 2nd coming: France isn't getting kickbacks from Saddam. They have a huge population of Muslims. They're scared for their votes. That's why they cry to the "Moral Superiors" in the UN who know how to do nothing useful except debate amongst themselves. The UN is a huge handcuffed bureaucracy that is completely useless in this day and age as a means for creating any type of lasting peace.
"The 4% of mac users are also in the upper 4% of the income scale."
Please provide proof of this, as I think the upper 4% of the income scale could really give a crap about a computer, thus making your claim a pile of garbage. They likely are spending their time on a boat or travelling or something else. Most of the very wealthy people I know hire geeks to do computer work.
IBM most certainly keeps their lawyers on retainer, and that's a good thing, because we have companies like SCO. Stupid companies that get themselves in financial trouble, and due to the fact that American society today is so litigious, SCO's real business model changes from one of software development and profit through license sales to one of profit from litigation.
I personally hope that SCO is crushed completely, and no buyouts are even considered by any other companies. If someone wants to take code that they personally developed and release it under a GPL, more power to them. But this kill a company and make money off of it through a buyout and sue everyone in sight needs to end, and end with SCO scattered to the four winds.
I use Roadrunner for Business with static IP and it's $90 bucks here in Orlando...
