Only you would be dumb enough to actually stick to strict syntax w/ a/. sig. I know a single char is an int (0x4d is the ASCII value for "M", which you apparently didn't know). I KNOW this won't really work. But you get the general idea. This is where that "imagination" (Geez. A man is (apparently) dead, and we're arguing over which one of us is stupider. Get a life.
strcat returns a pointer to a string, which can be used by another strcat call. Yes, I know that 'M' would probably optimize to 0x4d, and it would be better written as char *s1 = 'M' and so forth. But that would be too long. So have a little imagination, huh?

No, most people join the military because they need a job/education, and/or they feel it's their duty to their country. Think about it (but don't hurt yourself).
Go to hell. You are not contributing to this discussion at all, and I seriously hope his family has not seen what you are saying. You are not being funny, and if brains were leather, you couldn't saddle a flea.
Not liking Perl or Linux does not demand a death sentence. Both are far from perfect. You would probably justify your comments under "free speech", yet you condemn this man (which you are not) for what he said.
Just crawl back into whatever dark, smelly hole you came out of and die, 'K?
It was mostly for bragging rights over one of my freinds (who is an alarmist). His P100 croaked on anything over 2048 bits. So I did 4096 just to piss him off. But I'd really have been just as secure with, say, 1024. None of the enemies I've made so far in school have the brains to even know what encryption is, and the government couldn't be less interested in some 15-year-old computer nerd. Suggested moderation for your post (and this one,(?)): -1 troll/flamebait/MYOB
Someone cracked a 512-bit key. Big deal. Who here uses 512-bits? I use 4096-bit Diffie/Hellman, so you won't see me wetting my pants over this. But seriously, who needs ultra-strong encryption, anyway, besides governments and maybe buisnesses? I'm opposed to encryption controls and all that, but don't flatter yourself by thinking the government is so interested in you that it will spend months/years trying to crack your PGP key. (that was directed at the alarmists who will probably be coming out of the woodwork any second now.....)

And besides, who cares?
Right. Like you're going to write an OS, or anything useful for that matter, in Perl.
Great. If this 'transsexual' bit isn't really a sick hoax (which I doubt), then he is reading this pointless drivel.
And I think 'DNFTAC' (Do Not Feed The Anonymous Cowards) would be a great saying to put up on /.

These ACs are really getting out of hand.
'Coward' doesn't begin to describe these fscking crack whores.

Rob - You may want to change the M$ icon. I think the troll kiddies get aroused whenever they see it.
Well said. :)
.sig has bugs. v0.02 will be out shortly. 'Till then, stop /.'ing my mailbox :)
