    Speak for yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed Doom 3. Quake 4 as well. I actually modded in more self-shadowing and flashlight shadows into Quake 4 - wasn't dark enough.

    ... and I bet citing that to them over the phone will make them real nervous. I used to work with a collection agency. I recall their supervisors bitching about having to research and handle those C&Ds all the time.

    They do work...

    (we were the telco provider for their office, so... hopefully that means I'm "clean")

    Er, the CEO shouldn't be micromanaging all the different departments and sections of the company. He's got people below for that, and people below those etc.

    The people who do product development and maintenance are not the people who would be in the courtroom. They are not the finance people, and they are not the sales/marketing people. Saying that one department being focused on lawsuits would prevent an unrelated department from doing their job tells me you've not been involved with a company larger than 10 or so people...

    The JRE, or just the JDK?

    For a -loooong- time the JRE gets installed in a place like c:\program files\java\jre[5,6,7]

    However, the JDK if you have that, get's it's full version in the path. So when that is updated, the old version remains.

    Astronomy came first. It wasn't until 1608 that a real telescope came to be. That's the Dutch model that Galileo ran with and improved.

    Astronomy itself dates back to antiquity. The telescope is just a tool developed for the use of the science.

    Yes, exactly that.

    A note about the tape, too: of course that's only good if the skin is damaged. The frame is the important part, the skin just flows the air around the frame. The tape can do the same job, temporarily.

    The executive branch can suggest to the legislature a bill, just like anyone else can. Whether or not they take the suggestion is still in their power.

    Lets also not forget executive orders and special powers, they muddy the water.
