they have been talking about this for years , and for years they have made small changes some good some bad , but realy i believe in free info , and it should be treated as such , realy it shouldnt make any thing that ppl cant get around so they can get the info they need , info needs to be free.

i think that space is a wonderful place to spend money , sorry to say that it is underfunded , most gov. programs are fighting hand and fist for a little green to line there pockets to get throw another year , we dumped the space station a few dozen times , it has almost died , but i think it is something that we need to explore for there is a ton of things we have learned and made that have helped out development of our as a ppl , we need to look to the future as well as the past for our answers , for one day space maybe the only place we can go , i am not saying that space should get more funding , but it needs to be open and explored , as do the ocians . i hope that funding will keep up becouse i am infavor of a space station , and even moon bases , and the mars colony are all good things , we also need to feed and cloth our own first and learn to stop reproducing at the rate we are . as a sociaty we need to grow up and advance . with out funding we cant get off this planet or under teh ocians , with out education our sociaty cant advance , schooling needs to be for front now. clothing and education , with the advancement as well, its a juggling act.for who knows when or how the next great technology will come.
well atleast they are going to a better system then the nt box with known exploits , i am not so sure how this will effect ppl , i have used a few macs over the years and i have to say , personaly i enjoy the easy uses that the mac offers , but i dont realy enjoy the mac becouse it doesnt have alot of the power i have seen in my linux and and sun box , but i cant say that they should go with linux , or unix , but i like the linux system and the sun . i have seen the stablitiy in the systems.
but this is the military so i cant say what is right in there case. but rara ra for the switch from nt , i never realy liked nt it kept blue screening me , i have had my linux box up for a month or more now. which comeing form windows for 10 years i have to saythat is one heck of a good thing.

you mean now marketing is a computer , i hope it isnt y2k complient. sorry but i dont enjoy adds as is , i would realy hate to see a computer generating commicals for tv , inet , news papers , that is all i need is junk mail from a computer capable of shooting out 1million a second any way , now if this was ai or any thing i would still be agianst it this use is not good for paper or electrons, why make something that every one hate no one wants , but every one pays for . i mean seriouly i cant seem to figure why any one would make such a thing so annoying as this.
do you think sonys new product , maybe a nano disk player. how about nano hard drives , if we can get that moter up to speed so to say maybe we can have nano drives , micro board , as i have noticed the only thing limiting the size of computer is interfaceablity with a human , think of a beowolf cluster of nano processers with 40 tera of nano drives allin the size of your palm pilot. maybe even a way of taking it to the next level , nano do offer a lot of promise for the future , but watch it and we may all turn into the borg , (peronaly that is kinda appeling) all i have to say is keep MS away from it. i would only run linux if it comes near my body , think of seeing a blue screen while you try and tie your shoes, and having to reboot your brain . wouldnt that suck .

well i am not so jumpy about the mp3 flormat as much as the envestment . in all of the extra stuff involved . mainly batterys , a cd burner , software , copy right crap , its going to get involved , i like the idea alot. but who knows its kinda bad when a chunk of 300 buck hardware is kinda useless unless you have burner to use it to its full potinal and lets face it the included cd will suck . but i think i will get it any way just for the technology of it , i have a mini disk , a rio and a few other things and i enjoy them all
ok let me get this right the fbi , cia,nsa,etc... now have a data base of 3 states with the uglist pic known to man , i know ppl know what i am talking about. ever one take out there drivers licence , and take a good look. i noticed on mine the change was very drastic from my long hair down to the short , and no the missing beard . do you think that this thing can be effective in any means on a large scale. on my NC dl i am pissed and become i am at the dmv , but they also digitzed all my info into one of those freaky smart bar code things that are creaping on ups packages , now i stare at it looking for shapes and faces . isnt it nice to know your a bar code now! haha

think of it a new computer virus that affects bio life , a drug , a epidimic , and if you make them reproducing then we could be over run with these lttle things , my allerys are kicking up just thinking of it , LA is now in a dust bowl as it sinks into the pacific . if this is a sign of the times then boom we could be picking up a pack of smokes with little mites that kill smokers faster , we could make them to speed up the brain , or even communitcate from brain to deck think of it wet wear at last , and no need for wires.
hey linux and NEC laptops get along fine , there are 2 work arounds for modems , one find an old 33.6 that is a type 3 , or b find and exsternal . only two solutions i found. the 33.6 cards that come in type 3 are normaly also pain old modems , no win about them i havent found any 56k ones out there
