if someone has already made this point, I apologise and humbly pipe down, but I wonder if the various music industry associations have realized that should they continue to anger the consumer, then the consumer will continue to turn to cheaper (read: illegal) alternatives. Why don't they work on adding quality and content to their releases so that people actually *want* to own the original work.
(I think the marketing buzzword would be "value add")
