I have been using inDesign for several years, so when a project came to create dynamic client statements I used inDesign to create the master template. I then searched for a method to take the xml data and feed it to the template - allowing for auto-size section and page wraps - without success. (btw - if you know of a way to do this - do tell).
With failure fresh, I set off to learn LaTeX as it seems like the only tool that will gives me the flexibility to do what I need for this project. The learning curve feels steep, but so far I am enjoying it.
