This is just karma for all of their recent trash talking against Apple. Only thing is, it will also hurt others. Symantec is just bad news all around.

I'm thinking the entire screen will be a continuously running add with 4 smaller size channels showing in each corner. MS will use Avalon technology from upcoming Vista and make the channels see through. You can still see the shows but the add in the background will also be visible.

Yep. I would be all over that.

  4. You're all missing the point on Modded Hybrid Cars Get Up to 250 MPG · · Score: 1

Hybrid cars are an illusion much like the slight of hand used by a magician to trick you to look somewhere else.

Look at the new cars on the market. We are looking at buying a Mazda as an example.
    Mazda 3 - economy car 34 mpg
    Mazda 6 - family car 30 mpg
    RX-8 - sports 24 mpg
    Miata - sports 28 mpg

    Or look here
    http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/gasmileage/
for a list of he highest gas mileage cars for 2004.

Other than a few cars (and very pricey ones at that for the car itself) this is just pathetic. What is keeping the car companies from producing higher mpg's on the economy car line? Or any line for that matter?

The car world has been stuck at 30 and the mid 30's for the last 35 years or longer. That is the real crime here.

You always see stories of people with cars getting 80, 100 or more mpg. Why this will never become reality has nothing to do with technology or trying to be environmentally responsible.

We are all being duped. The governments (and automobile industrys) hand is truly quicker than the eye.

  7. Re:Revenge on Lack Of iTunes Phone Marketing Irks Motorola · · Score: 1

Well, maybe not revenge but it sure is funny. Motorola has screwed Apple so many time over the years with late shipping that it is hilarious to hear them moan when Apple wants them to hold up for awhile. It must meant that the form factor to be used on this phone will be different than the rest and Apple wants to be in sole possession of the idea. Showing it before it is ready may not allow this to happen.
