It seems they both copied each other's idea of throttling and pretending to not receive a DVD for several days after first class mail delivers it, or sending new DVDs several days later than than they say in the notification.
I would prefer they send me an email saying I am a leech and my account is on hold for two days so I know not to expect a movie, rather than misinform me half the time so I can't plan an evening.
Truecrypt has already solved this problem. I like this quote from the manual:
It may happen that you are forced by somebody to reveal the password to an encrypted volume.
There are many situations where you cannot refuse to reveal the password (for example, when the
adversary uses violence). Using a so-called hidden volume allows you to solve such situations in a
diplomatic manner without revealing the password to your volume.
